Jason in Asheville ordered a pre-built Percolator with an unfinished cabinet, so he could apply his own stain. Here’s what he had to say about the amp:
“Wow! Great sounding lil head. I’m very impressed. I’ve run it thru a small cab with an Oxford 10 and a Marshall 2×12 w greenbacks. Just makes em both sound good. Neat idea using obsolete tubes to build around. It’s cool that I can retube the amp with a [low-cost] usa nos tube vs. $50 and up for common high demand tubes. Thank you for impressing me.
“I grew up in the ‘burbs (carol stream) so it’s good to have a lil Windy City blow thru my music room. You guys rock! Once I put my stain on the cab I’ll send pics so u can [add it to the] gallery.“Go Bulls and Blackhawks!!”
