Berk’s Perc Berk in upstate New York sent this in:
“My brother and I built [the cabs]… The speaker is Weber Alnico Signature 8″ as Brach suggested. It sounds awesome. It is interesting. I compared my Blackstar HT-1 with Percolator both through its own 12″ cabinet with a Hellatone 25 Ceramic from Avatar Speakers and the 8″ Weber, Percolator sounds much more authentic and vintage, specially when pushed. I am guessing that Percolator produces a nice mixture of preamp and power amp distortion.”
