Question about build. Resistors

I received my Quaverato the other day, got everything situated and started my build. I noticed that on the instructions there are some resistor locations that have an asterisk next to them. I don’t have the resistors to fill those spots. I am thinking they’re for the MIDI build.
Anyway, my question is do I make jumpers for those spots, or leave them empty? I have resistors of my own. If I need to fill them with resistors I can, I’m just not 100% sure about what to do with them. I didn’t see anything in the instructions about this, I may have overlooked it.

I just looked again and saw that the instructions say to ignore the spots with the asterisk. 😂
