Sound coming through in bypass

the effect mode is coming through only when i press the bypass pedal on. the bypass foot switch itself is not staying on either. the tap tempo is functioning correctly the sound is right, exept for the fact is backwards on the bypass. Ive gone through the troubleshooting guide but i can’t seem to find where i went wrong!

Sorry for the Quaverato trouble.
To be clear, the tremolo effect is supposed to be engaged when the red “effect on” light beside the bypass foot switch is on. Is that not happening with your pedal?
Is the momentary switch not functioning correctly according to the user manual description? Let me know.
