These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zeppelin Design Labs website and online store (the “Site”), operated by Zeppelin Design Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Products and descriptions

We design and sell DIY electronics kits, contact microphones, parts, and related goods. Product descriptions, manuals, and photographs are provided in good faith, and we may update specifications, pricing, and availability without notice. If something in your order is materially wrong, tell us and we will make it right under our refund policy.

Orders and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order — for example on payment failure, a pricing error, or a stock problem — and we will tell you if we do. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for the taxes shown at checkout.

We ship worldwide. Customs duties and import taxes on international orders are set by your own country and are the responsibility of the recipient. See our shipping policy for details.

DIY kits and safety

Many of our products require soldering, tools, and basic electronics practice. By buying a kit you confirm that you understand the skill level described on the product page and that you will follow the documentation. Improper assembly can damage components or create electrical hazards. Use kits at your own risk; our refund and warranty terms set out what we cover.

Intellectual property

Site content, product names, logos, manuals, firmware, and designs belong to Zeppelin Design Labs or our licensors. You may use our manuals and firmware personally, with products you purchased. You may not redistribute our documentation or firmware as your own product, reverse engineer firmware for competing products, or use our marks in a way that implies endorsement without written permission.

Accounts and forums

If you create a store account or use our community forums, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Forum use is also subject to the forum’s own conduct rules. Store accounts and forum accounts are separate, even when they share an email address.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zeppelin Design Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or our products, including lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute goods. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. Where that is the case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes affecting an existing order, the version in effect when you ordered still governs that order.
