So I unfortunately slid into a high curb in the rain last month with my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The body shop fixed the wheel and tire and did an alignment, but ever since then the rear end feels like it’s wandering around on the highway, especially when I hit bumps. The alignment sheet showed everything in the green but something just feels off. A friend who knows cars said the rear control arm or maybe the subframe could be slightly bent even if the alignment numbers look okay. I need to find a shop that can put the car on a frame jig and measure everything instead of just trusting the alignment machine. I’ve been looking for Proficient Chassis Repair in Mussafah that has experience with unibody Jeeps and can check for subframe alignment and suspension mounting points. Has anyone here had a similar experience after a curb hit and found that a bent trailing arm was causing the instability? Also wondering if a damaged wheel bearing could cause wandering even if it doesn’t make noise. The car drives straight but feels like it’s always searching. Any recommendations for a specialist in Mussafah who won’t just say “it’s fine” would be amazing. Thanks.
